Conakry inaugurates two ZPMC STS cranes

Bolloré Africa Logistics has inaugurated two ZPMC gantry cranes at its terminal in Conakry, Guinea.

According to a Bolloré statement, the cranes cost US$17,229,620 and have a lifting capacity of 62 tonnes.

They will add to the two Terex-Gottwald cranes already in service on the container terminal.

The company claims that they will double the handling rates to 25 movements per hour per gantry crane and enable the terminal to handle two 4,000 teu container ships simultaneously.
