CMA CGM has pulled its 18,000 teu vessel calls at US West Coast ports from its schedules and sent them back to the Asia-Europe trade lane.
The Benjamin Franklin megaship has been replaced by a smaller vessel, the Leo, less than five months into its service on the trans-Pacific route, according to BlueWater Reporting.
The vessel berthed at the Port of Los Angeles in late 2015 followed by an arrival at the Port of Long Beach in February 2016.
