The Ocean Alliance has updated and upgraded its service offering and re-released it as the Ocean Alliance Day Two Product.
The product offers 41 services with a capacity of 3.1m teu on a fleet of 331 container ships, with CMA CGM deploying 121 ships alone.
A number of new services have been added: 20 transpacific services, four transatlantic services, six Asia-North Europe services, four Asia-Med services, five Asia-Middle East gulf services and two Asia-Red Sea services.
Olivier Nivoix, senior vice president of Ocean Alliance Lines, said: “By improving our services and offering our range of new added-value solutions, we continue to go beyond regular business relations with our customers by offering them an experience that meets their needs and expectations in order to build with them the shipping of tomorrow.”
CMA CGM now offers its Reeflex product, used for transporting refrigerated liquids, as part of the Day Two Product.
The French carrier announced online payment for customers and its set of Serenity products, used to manage supply chain risk at a lower cost, would also be available as part of the service update.
