The TTX182i, TRX182i and TRL182i have been designed with increased driver comfort, easier maintenance and environmental regulations in mind. They are equipped with EU Stage 3A/Tier III engines and an automatic gear control transmission.
The overall aim of the new design, as Kalmar General Manager Patrik Sjoeblom explains, was to ‘improve the product’s performance and durability, in order to further improve productivity at terminals.’
The CAN-BUS control system provides information such as driving positions and fuel consumption, thus making the driver’s job easier. Troubleshooting takes a matter of seconds and crucially, the number of wire harnesses is down by a third from conventional machines.
