VIT concludes deal with ACL
The ACL (Atlantic Container Lines ) has a 30 year relationship with the VIT and the 10 year contract is projected to have a throughput of 10,000 containers and 50, 000 tons of Ro-Ro Cargo. “ACL has been a good customer for a long time, so I’m very satisfied it is locked-in for the next decade. ACL has been a mainstay in Portsmouth and we want to keep it that way,” said Joe Dorto, general manager and CEO of VIT.
The VIT has 11 such contracts in place with the likes of the MSC, the Grand Alliance and China Shipping Lines.
