Alimak passes 2,000 unit mark

The company has been producing access lifts for ports since 1971, when it started out as a small retrofit business. Alimak Hek Group is now the world’s largest supplier of mast climbing equipment and added value services and, as well as new sales, is looking to build its after-sales business.

“Even if the total number of units has decreased since the glorious days of the early 1990s, when bulk orders of 12–30 units were quite common, we are of course very pleased with the size of our market share,” said Allan Leth, segment manager at Alimak AB’s head office in SkellefteÃ¥.
