MMH targets safety at height market

Towards the end of last year, the Loughborough-based Morris Material Handling established a strategic partnership with Bacou-Dalloz, the world leader in fall arrest protection systems and personal protection equipment. The new Height Safety Solutions division will promote Söll Fall protection systems from Bacou-Dalloz through its Morris Institute and its UK-wide network of service centres. Products include the Söll Xenon Horizontal Lifeline System and the Söll Glideloc Safe Climbing System.

As well as designing and installing vertical and horizontal safety systems for working at height, the new division will provide full training, ongoing consultation and comprehensive inspection, maintenance and service packages. It will also cater for height rescue solutions.

“Height Safety Solutions serves to provide customers with the ultimate protection systems for those involved in working at height, not only as a means of meeting the latest regulations introduced last year but to further protect the health, safety and welfare of employees,” says Pat Campbell, operations director, maintenance services at MMH.
