Magnum seals two new lease contracts

The units leased by CMA are fitted with AFAM+ technology, patented by Thermo King. AFAM+ is rapidly gaining a larger share of the cargo market from containers with older, more expensive atmosphere control systems. It has very limited maintenance costs and no operational costs, and allows operators such as CMA to penetrate new markets and to service new clients, while at the same time saving on costs.

OPDR has leased its TK Magnum units from Magnum Lease for dedicated services that require special capabilities and performance. By replacing its old reefers with the new fleet, the company can offer improved performance in terms of lower temperatures (down to -35ºC) and a faster pull-time down, which gives its customers a longer shelf-life and higher-quality end products. The TK Magnum units also offer considerable savings in power consumption.
