The company becomes the seventh in Florida to utilise Tideworks’ terminal management systems solutions, while this is Tideworks’ first implementation at a facility solely operated by P&O Ports.
The deployment includes Tideworks’ Mainsail Terminal Management System, Mainsail Online and Spinnaker Planning Management System. The first two products have been implemented in an Application Server Provider (ASP) environment and are hosted on remote servers located at Tideworks’ data centre, while a local server on-site hosts the Spinnaker application.
Mainsail Terminal Management System is a cargo processing system that provides real-time inventory management, flexible workflow tools and comprehensive integration with other essential systems and port partners. Mainsail Online provides enhanced communications by giving customers and partners access to selected terminal data, while Spinnaker Planning Management System provides terminal operators with fully-integrated vessel, berth, yard and rail planning tools.
