Bromma to supply spreaders to Yilport
Turkey and the wider Middle East region have proved an important market for Bromma in 2006. In June the Gulf Pipe Company ordered ten Marathon all-electric spreaders for delivery to Marport West Terminal in Turkey. Bromma already has 140 telescopic crane spreaders operating in the country, including 30 Marathon all-electric units.
Other recent major orders include 41 spreaders for service in Saudi Arabia and 20 for use in the United Arab Emirates. In September, Liebherr ordered ten Marathon twin-lifts for use in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, while ZPMC has ordered 20 for use by the Dubai Port Authority. Bromma currently has 89 telescopic crane spreaders operating in Saudi Arabia and 197 in use in the UAE.
