SeeGate2, HTS’s second-generation gate OCR system, is currently deployed by seven different port operators. According to the company, it delivers unprecedented truck plate and container code recognition information, including damage inspection imaging, IMO label reading and classification options, even in the most stringent and demanding port environments.
Systems are currently being commissioned by HTS’s partner, Dalosy Port Solutions (DPS), at several terminals in Rotterdam, at both the Maasvlakte and Delta ports. Additional SeeGate2 systems were successfully commissioned earlier this year in Rotterdam and also at the ports of Antwerp and Algeciras. The installation in Algeciras serves as part of a global security project.
HTS has been awarded the contract for the new development at the port of Ashdod in Israel and will be delivering gate and rail OCR systems there over the next two years. The company has also deployed over 70 crane OCR systems to date, and has now designed a second-generation system that provides container code recognition, damage inspection imaging, IMO label reading and classification, door direction and seal indication.
