Novel flat rack chassis from CIMC

Each flat rack can load three chassis and is collapsible for the return journey. Five folded units can be nested within a single 8.5 ft unit, which saves on logistics costs. The design has been fine-tuned after a number of prototype tests, and so far 400 units have been produced and delivered to CIMC Vehicle Group.

CIMC Xinhui specialises in innovative container solutions. In June 2006 it made its tallest ever container – a 40 ft x 8 ft x 18.5 ft unit developed to ship mega-size aircraft components from Boeing. The factory, which is located on the waterfront of the Xijiang River, benefits from having its own container terminal nearby.
