The port rotation on the revised FRS schedule will be Shanghai – Ningbo – Nansha – Hong Kong – Shekou – Singapore – Tanjung Pelapas – Aden – Jeddah – Aqaba – Sokhna Port – Singapore – Shanghai. The first sailing on the revised schedule was made by Ever Growth, which departed Nansha on December 31, 2006.
In the meantime, Evergreen has set up a new agency company in Valencia, Spain to serve the growing needs of Spanish shippers and manufacturers. Evergreen Shipping Spain SL (EES), headed by president Albert Ko, commenced operations on January 1, 2007.
EES will represent Evergreen Marine Corp, Hatsu Marine Ltd and Italia Marittima SpA in Valencia and, through a second office, Barcelona. The rest of Spain, including Madrid, Alicante and Bilbao, will continue to be represented by Green Iberica, while Portugal, Algeria and Tunisia will also be represented by existing Evergreen agents.
