Eighteen Bromma crane spreaders are already in service in Chile, one of several countries in Latin America and the Caribbean that are proving a growing market for Bromma’s product range. Other vibrant markets for the company include Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Panama and Puerto Rico, which between them already have some 150 Bromma spreaders in service.
The company is continuing to develop its sales organisation in the region and added four new agent partners in 2006: Genair Inc of Venezuela, Rightrack Equipos y Soluciones SA of Ecuador, Triton Trading SA of Peru and Crane Partner Ltd in Chile.
“Latin America, Mexico and the Caribbean continue to be growth regions in container handling and Bromma is fortunate to continue to participate in that growth,” said Lars Fredin, the company’s vice president of sales and marketing.
