Another hiccup for Hibiki?

Hibiki was the first port in Japan to introduce the private finance initiative method through the Hibiki Container Terminal (HCT) project – a partnership between PSA International, major domestic port transport enterprises and Kitakyushu City. HCT, which received its first vessel in April 2005, is a state-of-the-art terminal and one of the first in Japan with a 15 m depth, which allows it to handle the largest container vessels. Two new services from CMA CGM

CMA CGM has launched a new service linking South America to the Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea, India and South Africa. The new weekly VASCO Express service will deploy eight vessels of 1,700 teu, with a reefer capacity of 350 plugs. The first vessel, the CMA CGM Rio-Grande, left Brazil on February 13, 2007. Jones appointed CEO at ABP

20 Shuttle Carriers for APM Virginia

APM Terminals has placed an order with Kalmar for 20 SHC250H Shuttle Carriers for its new container terminal on the Elizabeth River in Portsmouth, Virginia.
