The OSX45 has many safety advantages, according to Bromma. All functions are managed using simple control levers from the crane cabin, and there is no need for employees on the ground. Crane operators can easily check that everything is where it should be via a twistlock indicator that is clearly visible from different directions.
The OSX45 is also easy to use and maintain, with only the locking and unlocking of spreader twistlocks required for its operation. It can be fitted onto all existing crane spreaders. As with the Bromma Marathon family of all-electric spreaders, the OSX45 has no hydraulic system, so it is easy to service and has low lifecycle costs.
