Walters succeeds Roels at DP World

In March 2005 he was appointed MD of Southampton Container Terminals and Tilbury Container Services, and more recently has held the role of deputy regional director. In his new position, Mr Walters is responsible for all of DP World’s existing terminal businesses in the region and for development projects in the pipeline.

After more than six years as regional director, Roger Roels is stepping down from the role but will remain with DP World as a special advisor. He will remain on the boards of DP World’s joint venture companies in France and Belgium. He will also remain a member of the DP World Executive Committee and will represent DP World’s EU interests in Brussels.
