Kalmar launches icon terminal tractor

Improvements to the operator cabin of the icon TT618i, TR618i and TRL618i models include an asymmetrical rotating seat, a fully adjustable steering column and a layout with more working space and better visibility. The new models feature the CAN-BUS control system, which integrates all functions into a single system and shows full operational and service data on one display panel. Its diagnostic capabilities also assist in service and maintenance planning.

The icon range offers a small turning radius and features the latest EU-stage engines – Volvo TAD750VE and Sisu Diesel 74CTA – which provide greater torque and high pulling capacity, required for heavy ramp driving. They have automatic gear control, while continuous traction is enabled by the new, stronger Dana RTE15822 transmission.
