The budget for the development, which has EU support, is in the order of £90m. The current area available is 90 ha, extendable if required to 200 ha, with an 8 ha water surface. Related developments include an industrial railway link, direct connection to public roads, a container and ro-ro service and a biodiesel industrial unit.
