Congo seeks Northport’s expertise

During his recent visit to the port, Emile Qussoo, Congo’s Transport Minister, expressed interest in retaining the operator as technical adviser for the development of Port Mandingo Keyes, about 40 km from Point-Noire Port, and as a partner in developing new ports in Mandingo.

Managing director and CEO of Northport Datuk Basheer Hassan Abdul Kader said the port welcomed the invitation for technical collaboration between the two ports of Point-Noire and Northport. “We would be happy to provide and share our experience in making Point-Noire a modern gateway port of Congo,” he said.
