CMA CGM Group agrees to acquire US Lines.
Both lines will continue to operate under their own brands with USL managed by its existing global management team.
The complementarity between US Lines and ANL will allow a more ‘global’ solution on the triangular trade connecting the US West Coast, Australia, New Zealand and Southern China.
US Lines has a turnover of US$145m and carries 100,000 teu annually. The company has 113 employees, seven 7 chartered vessels (mainly 1,100 teu, one 1,350 teu), a 23,600 teu lease container fleet and offices in Los Angeles, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong
