Southampton sets the security standard

ISO 28000 is a security management system standard which has been developed specifically for logistics companies and organisations that manage supply chain operations.

As a direct result of investment in ISO 28000, DP World is the first and the only international port operator to become a member of the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) programme; the primary US government to business supply chain security initiative. This therefore means that SCT will receive automatic C-TPAT certification.

DP World has committed to implement ISO 28000 management systems at all of its 42 global terminals over the next three years.
