HPH invests in the Port of Brisbane

PBC Chairman David Harrison said he was pleased to welcome HPH as a new operator at the port. “The significant investment from HPH is a clear vote of confidence in our ability to expand port facilities to meet rapidly increasing demand,” he said.

Construction has already begun, with Berth 11 expected to be operational by 2012 and Berth 12 in 2014. Upon completion, BCT will have a total area of 26 hectares, a quay length of 660 m with a depth alongside of 14 m.
