MICT upgrades handling fleet
Specifically built for handling empty containers, the sidelifters each have a lifting height of 19 m, a turning radius of 6 m and a safe working load of 9 tons. The new acquisition enables the stacking of empty containers to a maximum of seven high. This will improve the efficiency of stacking at the terminal and increase yard capacity by 10–15%, freeing up more slots for full containers for import and export.
