New forklift range from Hyster

A powerful six-cylinder, 10.8-litre Cummins QSM11 turbo diesel engine provides clean-running power and conforms to the EC Tier 3 emissions standards. For increased productivity and fuel economy, two engine performance levels are available, with either 224 kW or 272 kW at 1,800 rpm.

The engine is combined with a four-speed powershift transmission, APC200 Soft-Shift automatic gear shifting, protective forward/reverse shifting lock-out, a transmission protection system and a heavy-duty AxleTech drive-axle featuring wet disc brakes.

The series consists of seven models, and the 36-, 40-, 44- and 48-tonne models are also available in an ‘S’ (short) 5.38 m wheelbase version. These versions are among the most compact machines on the market, according to Hyster. The new series features class-leading lift speeds of up to 0.385 m/sec.
