The Rotterdam terminal is one of the busiest in APMT’s global portfolio, serving on average more than 15 mother vessels, 15 feeder vessels and 100 barge calls a week. It also handles more than 5,000 container trucks a week and 3,300 containers moved by rail to inland European locations.
“We are constantly looking for new ways to improve our service offerings to customers through improved efficiency and berth productivity. Our liner customers will now experience faster vessel turnaround times and more flexibility with their vessel port calls,” said Hans von Kerkhof, managing director of APM Terminals Rotterdam.
