Second Konecranes Boxhunter for Steveco

Steveco is a long-standing customer and has several types of Konecranes crane at its container terminal in Mussalo. Its new terminal in Vuosaari will open to traffic in November 2008. The operator is expecting fast growth in container traffic at Vuosaari and the Konecranes STS cranes will play an essential part in its terminal operations.

The Boxhunter is a Panamax STS crane that enables fast and precise positioning of containers and ensures efficient operations. It has a lifting capacity of 50 tonnes and an outreach of 39 m. Its design allows containers to be stored under the crane.
