Leading cable supplier Nexans has installed its Rheycord Basket Spreader (BS) 44C 12AWG cable in the basket spreader of a ship-to-shore crane at SSA Terminals at the Port of Oakland. ACP selects Dredging International bid

As part of its ambitious expansion project, the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) has awarded its third contract, and the largest to date, to Belgium-based Dredging International. The company will dredge the Pacific sea entrance of the Canal, which is essential to provide enough draught and width for longer, wider ships to pass and enter the new locks that will be built. Steveco upgrades Kalmar straddle carrier fleet

Finnish port operator Steveco Oy is aiming to expand its container handling capacity at the Port of Kotka with a new order for 10 Kalmar EDRIVE straddle carriers. The new ESC440W machines will be capable of stacking 1-over-3 high, one container higher than the Kalmar machines currently used by Steveco at the Mussalo Container Terminal.
