BLT to open new Jacksonville facility

The company has invested in the latest equipment for enhanced efficiency, optimum safety and minimal maintenance requirements. Meclift variable reach trucks are able to carry heavy loads – up to 16 metric tonnes – into containers and can reach into a container for efficient, swift and safe container stuffing and handling. The Mobicon mobile container handling system efficiently lifts containers onto and off trucks and safely carries containers around the site, up ramps and into buildings.

The new BLT facility also offers a specialised materials handling equipment maintenance and repair service, as well as a new and used materials handling equipment sales division. A large proportion of this service is directed to the export market.
