ICTSI services largest vessel yet at Guayaquil

Luis Cao, CGSA chief executive officer, thanked Hamburg Süd for giving CGSA the opportunity to service the vessel. CGSA is a subsidiary of International Container Terminal Services, Inc (ICTSI), the Philippines-based developer of international ports and terminals.

ICTSI meanwhile has named a new general manager for its Japanese unit, Naha International Container Terminal, Inc. (NICTI). Capt. Naoki Yamauchi takes over from Capt. Akira Chiba. Previously, Captain Yamauchi was managing director of Nippon Container Terminals Co., Ltd. (NCT) from 2003, and before that worked as a captain and port captain in charge of container vessel operations at the marine division of Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) Line, having joined that company in 1966.
