Frohlinger has been acting Chief Operating Officer since March 2006, having previously served as its Director of Planning and International Relations. In those positions, he led the company’s initiative to develop a fifty-year Strategic Master Plan for the development of Israel’s seaports.
Following approval of the master plan by the government, Frohlinger has spearheaded efforts to move the development plans forward.
Frohlinger has been employed by the company and its predecessor, the Israel Ports Company, for seventeen years. He has been responsible for the planning of a number of infrastructure and technology initiatives, including the original procurement of IC-3 train sets for Israel Railways, the functional planning for Ashdod’s Eitan Port and Haifa’s Carmel Port, new technology-based port gates, advanced terminal operating systems for the management of Israel’s container terminals, and more.
