Konecranes straddle carriers for IFB

Konecranes has received an order for nine straddle carriers from Belgian terminal operator and transport company Inter Ferry Boats (IFB). Auckland opts for TSB management system

Ports of Auckland is planning to introduce a new, state-of-the-art terminal management system supplied by Total Soft Bank (TSB) of South Korea. “K” Line launches US–Amazon feeder service

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” Line) is to launch a new feeder service between the East Coast of the USA and the Amazon region in Brazil from October 2008. The service will be jointly operated with the shipper’s partner Bringer Lines (located in Miami, Florida, USA) and will deploy two 500 teu-type vessels on a bi-weekly basis. Read More »

Kalmar secures new Indian orders

Kalmar Industries has won two new contracts to supply equipment to logistics operators in India. One order is for seven E-One+ rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes and 10 DRF450 reachstackers for Arshiya International Ltd, a global supply chain services company. Eurogate Tanger starts handling feeder calls

Gaussin sales drive big increase in turnover

Gaussin Manugistique of France announced turnover of €8.67m for all the companies in its group for the first six months of 2008, compared with €3.28m to the end of June 2007.
