Exolgan and Tilbury order Liebherr
The two Exolgan units have a SWL of 65 tonnes twinlift and 75 tonnes under hookbeam, an outreach of 50.50 m, a rail span of 31.37 m and a 14 m backreach. Lift height under the telescopic spreader is 37 m with a total hoisting height of 52 m. The hoist speed is 60/130 m/min with a trolley speed of 200 m/min and the crane travel speed is 45 m/min.
Equipped with the Liebherr Visuscan crane management system, the cranes are scheduled for delivery during Q2 of 2010 and will increase Exolgan’s Liebherr STS fleet to seven units.
The Tilbury order for two Super post-Panamax STS units is particularly pleasing for Liebherr as they will be the first Liebherr STS cranes to be delivered to Tilbury Container Services Ltd.
