Batumi implements Tideworks’ Spinnaker Planning System
According to Francis Carter, BICT’s CEO and general manager, “By implementing the Spinnaker System BICT aims to improve planning capabilities enhance container visibility in the yard and on vessels, lower operating costs and increase inventory control.”
According to the company, BICT will also leverage Spinnaker’s “Star Gate” module for gate processing to transport containers in and out of the terminal through the gate. As the terminal continues to grow, BICT will have the option to introduce the full suite of enterprise applications to scale with its operations, at no disruption to service.
“Tideworks’ personnel were able to successfully implement the Spinnaker System and provide systems training and onsite support in partnership with ICTSI’s IT staff from the BCT operation in Poland as well as IT staff from the Philippines,” said Michael Schwank, Tideworks Technology’s president.
