Two of the largest cranes destined for Tacoma
Measuring 273 feet at the apex and arriving fully assembled on board the specialist vessel Zhen Hua 26, the ZPMC “super post-Panamax” cranes will service vessels 24-containers wide, making them among the world’s largest.
WUT currently has four cranes with 18-container wide outreach. A third crane is scheduled to arrive in 2010, at which time WUT will have seven cranes in total.
Two smaller cranes also on board the Zhen Hua 26 are to be delivered to Chile after the Tacoma discharge.
