TSB to replace VTMS at port of Gothenburg

PLUS will increase the efficiency of handling port calls by enabling effective forward planning, involving the coordination of information received from internal and external organisations involved in the process. It will also improve efficiency and safety, as well as handling increased business.

Various sub-systems, including VCSplus and MSSplus, will be used at Gothenburg to form the complete PLUS system, which will also include AIS (Automated Identification System). In addition, the system will integrates with the port’s other systems.

Last year the Port of Gothenburg also contracted TSB to provide CATOS (Computer Automated Terminal Operation System) container terminal management system.
