Bromma beats all previous sales records

Despite the downturn in the global economy, the fourth quarter of 2008 showed strong demand from all market segments, including numerous new contracts from customers around the world, with many customers moving away from hydraulic units and specifying Bromma’s all-electric GREENLINE spreaders.

In the last quarter both the Port of Felixstowe in the UK, which has significant all-electric experience, and the Port of Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) ordered a total of 35 all-electric units.

“We are pleased that so many highly respected terminals are choosing to depend on GREENLINE all-electric spreaders,” says Vikram Raman, vice-president sales and services. “In tough economic times, the operating advantages of these spreaders are becoming more visible, and quite valuable.”
