The award recognises those who have actively advanced the profession by serving as a coach and mentor to others, as well as putting the interest of organisational HR at the top of their priorities.
Receiving her award, Lim paid tribute to her company and said it was the reason for her success: “It is a global job but I think the success relates to being in the right company and being able to make changes and do the work you want to do. It’s an organisation where management, employees and the unions work together well”.
Unlike the other award categories, there was no nomination for the “Outstanding Contributions to HR” category, the winner being chosen by an expert panel of judges from the HR industry. The HRM Awards are open to all Singapore-based employers from the private and public sectors.
