The system also facilitates the messaging between Zeeland Seaports, shipping agents, traffic management systems and (soon) pilots, service providers and Customs.
PortXcs will allow the handling of ships and cargo information and the exchange of data between the various parties in – and outside the port to run more efficiently which will save time and money. The system meets the stipulations of the ISPS (International Ship and Port facility Security) code.
Zeeland Seaports, the second largest seaport in the Netherlands, expects a substantial growth in transhipments and vessel calls in the coming years and with PortXcs the port community is ready for this growth.
