Candidates on the ‘Magnum/Magnet’ leadership training programme, which is designed to serve APMT’s global business needs for the future, must qualify for the 24 month intensive process that covers all aspects of the port business as well as global business.
Congratulating the graduates, AP Moller–Maersk Group CEO and APM Terminals Chairman of the Board, Nils Smedegaard Andersen said, “We will build the strongest team in the industry and you will be an important part of it. To succeed, we need great execution – and we need all of you to hit the ground running”.
The top graduates were: ‘Magnum’: Kurt Sulzbach, Terminal Manager, APMT, Oakland, California; ‘Magnet’: Prakash Krishnamoorthi, Commercial Manager, Port of Salalah, Oman; ‘Technical Magnum’: Salim Jarrar, Technical Manager, Aqaba Container Terminal, Jordan; and ‘Finance Magnet’: Sunil Bansal, Deputy CFO, APM Terminals Apapa, Nigeria.
