Lifts improve access on STS cranes at Saigon Port

The lifts, that will serve the cranes’ four landings, will allow crane operators faster access to the cranes’ cabin increasing overall productivity per shift. They will also provide access to the top of the crane for maintenance staff, their tools and parts, thereby facilitating frequent preventive maintenance.

Designed to operate in demanding external industrial environments, the Alimak rack and pinion lifts carry their own machinery and do not require expensive machine rooms or load-bearing lift shafts.
