“Port operators need fast, reliable and rugged intermodal logistics solutions that withstand continually changing conditions of the outdoor environment. LXE’s newest handheld computer has been built with port customers’ needs in mind and we have spent a great deal of time working with our port operators to ensure that the product meets their needs,” says Stephen Newell, general manager of LXE.
Currently, LXE serves more than 200 ports worldwide with a full range of vehicle-mount and handheld computers. The MX9’s rugged design can withstand multiple drops on concrete from two metres and has water and dust rating of IP 67, making it ideal for port and intermodal logistics.
