All products are powered by Cummins diesel engines which comply with current stage 3a emission standards, and are of varying power output in relation to capacity requirements. The power unit is coupled to the Dana electronic transmission, type TEl 7, 3-speed unit, providing output torque through to the Kessler final drive axle unit.
The load mast and carriage system have also been developed from the established dual purpose – compact load and container handling design, of Linde’s sister series, which was specifically designed to handle the stresses which are present in long-load handling, thus providing a general purpose, versatile machine, onto which a wide range of estab¬lished attachments may be employed.
The cabin has been taken, in the main, from the sister series machine range and provides exceptional forward free-sight through the mast to the load, and also around the machine, contributing to the ease of manoeuvrability of the machine. For detailed service, the cabin tilts to the side and an engine hood opens to the rear to provide unhindered access to the power train and hydraulic components
