New cranes for Altamira Terminal Portuaria
The arrival of the cranes, which have a lifting capacity of 78 tonnes and maximum lift height of 42 m under the hook, with a maximum outreach of 50 m, brings to five the number available for container handling along its 600 m berth.
Despite the current global economic slowdown, ATP and its shareholders are confident that with the new cranes the terminal will be well placed to take full advantage of the eventual recovery in trade.
