Pear Track to the rescue

Manchester based Pear Track Systems offered to help with the loan of a battery powered self contained GPS tracking unit normally used on shipping containers and road trailers, as the system requires no fitting and can be placed under a seat or even in the boot of the car. The unit is now operating in the vehicle and it is being tracked by the team via the internet.

Pear Track this year launched the world’s first self contained GPS tracking system with a 10 year battery life which is specifically designed for shipping containers and road trailers. The web based system allows users to find the position of the Pear Track tracking devices to within a few metres by logging onto the Pear track web site.

All Pear Track products are designed and manufactured in Great Britain as Paul Burke a Pear Track director believes that, “Cheap Chinese products cannot compete on quality and the small amount saved on price by manufacturing in the Far East is just not worth it.”
