Cargotec merges Hiab and Kalmar and re-names business areas
At the same time Cargotec has formed a Marine business area, comprising the current MacGregor business, with Olli Isotalo continuing as executive vice-president.
The new Industrial and Terminal division includes Product Solutions, with responsibility for global products, and Service Solutions responsible for global services, along with three regional organisations with responsibility for sales and service in the Americas, Asia-Pacific and EMEA.
Cargotec has also appointed three new members to its Executive Board. Unto Ahtola, formerly with Sandvik Mining and Construction, joins as executive VP for Product Solutions; Stefan Gleuel, currently senior VP of the MacGregor service division becomes executive VP of Service Solutions; Ken Loh, currently president, Kalmar APAC region, has been appointed executive VP for Asia-Pacific.
