YICT launches its first inland container depot

Supported by the Shenzhen government, YICT opened the 3.12 hectare inland depot to better meet the needs of the many factories that are migrating to China’s interior, providing 24/7 storage, management, cleaning and repair of up to 8,000 teu.

Commenting on the new facility, Liu Zukun, manager of Dongguan Yongxin Logistics Company, said, “Previously, we had to pick up import containers from Yantian Port and unload them in the factories and return the empties to Yantian. Now we just return them to Dalingshan and are able to make two round trips a day at just the cost of one”.
