With the new P3307, tecsis has added to its product range of pressure sensors able to withstand extreme conditions in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. In the latest compact pressure sensor which has a brass body, the medium-contacting parts are of brass, ceramic and resistant chloroprene. As a result, the P3307 offers outstanding resistance to aggressive coolants as there is no need for a fully sealed stainless steel measuring cell: a ceramic measuring cell is used as the sensor element.

As the sensors become cold during operation, dew is also likely to occur. However, this does not present any problems for the pressure sensor in refrigerating applications.

A variety of options for electrical and mechanical connection guarantee the easy integration of the sensor in every application. With an optional cable outlet the requirements of protection class IP69K can be met. The P3308 is available with measurement ranges from 0…6 bar to 0…60 bar, -1…7 bar and -1…9 bar.

The P3307 is fully RoHS compliant and when fitted with a cable outlet provides protection to IP69 level. Typical OEM applications include compressors, water coolers and condensers.
