Two more Liebherr Megamax cranes for Southampton
Each crane has a span of 35 m with a waterside outreach of 60.5 m. Lift height is 45 m and landside backreach 16 m.
SWL is 65 tonnes under twin lift spreader and 80 tonnes under hookbeam. Hoist speed is 75-180 m/min with a trolley speed of 240 m/min. Crane travel speed is 45 m/min and the cranes will be equipped with the Liebherr Visuscan Crane Management Systems.
The addition of these two gantry cranes increases the number of Liebherr cranes operating at the terminal to four units.
