Transet Port Terminals announces new COO
Following her transfer, executive commercial manager, Don Maclean, will take over Damasane’s previous role in an acting capacity.
“Ms Damasane and Mr Maclean are well equipped to assume their new responsibilities and challenges, given their business experience and industry knowledge,” said TPT’s CEO Tau Morwe.
Damasane began her career with Transnet in 1998 as port manager at East London before moving to TPT as general manager for operations at the Eastern Cape terminals. Since 2007 she has been responsible for logistics and commercial sales, overseeing supply chain management, new business development and customer service.
